Patek Philippe celebrates this year 175 years of sophisticated luxurious timepieces. At its anniversary on October 13th, Patek has exhibited the most complex watch in its collection.
Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime 5175 dazzles the crowd with its 20 functions. One of this unuasual elements are an alarm which has included a programmed alarm time with the whole sound sequence of the minute repeater. You will also meet functions as a perpetual calendar with a 4 digit year dispay and a second time zone or an interesting date repeater that propagates a double sound with a high and a low note at intervals of te days and high notes for the other days.
The case has a diameter of 47.4 mm and is 16.1 mm thick. The company disclosed that were required over 100, 000 hours to design, develop, manufacture and assemble 1,580 components.
